This Relic style ring features an ancient coin circa 250-190 BC. The coin is from the Pisidia region which is located in modern-day southern Turkey. This coin depicts the helmeted head of Athena, the goddess of wisdom, war and the crafts.

Our Relic styles are handcrafted using traditional sandcasting techniques. The bezel surrounding this coin was formed from wax that was used to create a mold in sand. Molten gold was poured into this mold, resulting in the rich, one-of-a-kind texture you see.
